billy is an internationally published fashion photographer. his editorials have been published in new york, paris, london, amsterdam, australia, canada and elsewhere. billy works non-stop with passion to perfect his photographs. he doesn't stop until he "gets the shot." he considers himself a portrait/people photographer specializing in fashion, commercial, lifestyle and advertising.
growing up in the suburbs of nyc, he was exposed to the arts at an early age: museums, theatre, music and dance performances helped him decide to study the arts.
throughout high school he worked in many greenhouses in new jersey, including the orchid range on the doris duke estate.
his first year of college was spent at delaware valley university of science and agriculture (originally the national farm school) in bucks county, pennsylvania where he studied ornamental horticulture.
his second year took him to ohio university in athens, ohio where he spent the next three years studying photography, studio art and art history, earning a bfa in photography.
for the last three years, billy has pretty much photographed a flower or plant each day to build up this collection of botanical photographs.
